Solutions · Secure AI

AI you are allowed to use: secure, sovereign and hosted in German data centres.

Your employees want to use AI, your data should not leave the company uncontrolled, and the EU AI Act requires rules. We bring it all together: consulting, a company AI in the German IONOS Cloud, automation with n8n, protection with our security vendors and operation as a managed service.

Why now?

AI has arrived in companies, often faster than policies and training. Three reasons to get organised now:

Shadow AI

Employees use private AI accounts, often with company data. Nobody knows where information ends up. An approved, secure alternative is the most effective protection.

EU AI Act

The AI literacy obligation (Art. 4) has applied since February 2025; since 2 August 2026 the regulation applies generally, including transparency obligations. Even companies that only use AI have obligations.

Productivity

Ticket assessment, document processing and knowledge search take hours today. AI does the groundwork in seconds, people make the decisions.

Use case

AI in the service desk: people decide

This is how AI ticket triage works, as we use it in our own support. AI processing runs via the IONOS AI Model Hub in Germany.

1 · Ticket arrives

By email or portal, as before. Nothing changes for your customers.

2 · AI assesses

Category, priority and a summary of the request, within seconds.

3 · Knowledge base

A similarity search finds matching solution articles in your knowledge base.

4 · Suggestion

A draft answer with source reference appears as an internal comment in the ticket.

5 · Approval

Your team reviews, adjusts and approves. Customer replies are labelled as AI-assisted.

Result

Your team no longer does the initial assessment, and you stay in control. That is exactly what the EU AI Act requires: human oversight and transparency.

Getting started

Three steps to a secure company AI

1 · Quick check

We record where AI is already used, classify the use cases under the EU AI Act and draw up an action plan.

2 · Pilot

Secure AI Chat for one team plus one concrete use case, such as ticket triage or a knowledge assistant, with measurable goals.

3 · Rollout and operation

Company-wide introduction, Art. 4 training and operation as a managed service with agreed service hours and reporting.

Frequently asked questions

Does our data leave Germany?
Not with our company AI on the IONOS AI Model Hub: according to IONOS, processing takes place exclusively in data centres in Germany. Prompts and answers are not stored there and not used for training.

We already have Microsoft 365. Do we need Copilot?
For working in Outlook, Teams and Word, Copilot is often the right choice. For particularly sensitive data or processes outside Microsoft 365, a sovereign company AI complements it. We advise vendor-neutrally and combine both.

Doesn't AI hallucinate?
That is why our knowledge assistant only answers from your documents with source references, and a person always approves replies to customers.

What do we have to do under the EU AI Act?
At a minimum: record AI use, classify use cases, train employees (Art. 4) and label AI interaction (Art. 50). Details are in our white paper.

What does it cost?
That depends on scope and usage. After a short conversation you will receive a concrete quote.
